What happens after the 14 days?
You move to Free unless you pick a plan. Recording, notes and transcripts keep working. Plans, guidance and write-ups pause until you upgrade.
Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet and Teams?
Yes, and any other call app, phone calls through your Mac and meetings in the room. Aside listens to your Mac’s audio, so it doesn’t need to connect to the call.
Will the other people see Aside?
No bot joins your call. If you share your screen, share a single window and only you see Aside.
Do I need to tell people I’m recording?
Yes. Recording laws differ by place, and many require everyone’s consent. Tell them at the start, for example with a line in the call’s chat.
Which Macs does it run on?
Any Mac with Apple silicon on macOS 14.2 or later. The speech model downloads once, about 650 MB.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from Settings in the app. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month. Yearly plans can be refunded in full within 30 days.
